This happens when the tablet is plugged in first BEFORE installing the driver. I think the reason why this problem happens is because the computer thinks that it's a mouse and assigns it a driver that is not for the tablet. Download and install (Tablet must not be plugged in at this point.)ġ0. For Ex.: My tablet is the CTL-470, it's driver is further down the web page under "Drivers for Previous Generation Products")ĩ. Carefully read the description for each driver. Find the correct driver for your tablet here: (IMPORTANT NOTE: The latest drivers may not be the one for yours. Slap it in your comp and install the software and drive. IF YOU HAVE THE INSTALLATION DISC THAT COMES WITH THE TABLET (IF NOT, SKIP DOWN TO INSTRUCTIONS FOR NO DISC):Ĩ. Unplug your tablet from your computer (Very important) (You can find this using the search bar in the start menu.) Find all programs that are related to "Bamboo" or "Wacom" and uninstall all of them. Open up "Add or remove programs" in the control panel. (Don't forget to click on the check mark in the pop up window).Ĭlose the device manager window. Still in Device Manager, click on the "Human Interface Devices" drop down menu, right click on "Wacom tablet" and then uninstall the driver as well. A window will pop up, make sure to check mark "Delete the driver soft." then click OK. Right click the right one and click "Uninstall". (Right click each one and click 'Properties', read location and if it says 'Wacom tablet' or something related to wacom tablet then that's the one). Under the "Mic and other pointing devices" drop down menu find which one of the Mice listed is the wacom tablet. You can find it by searching it up in the search bar in the start menu.
